As you may noticed, I decided to change my way to realize background for this one and probably the future ones. I am not satisfied with my background for ages now and wanted to finally change that with trying some new things. During my last professional illustrating job I realized lining the backgrounds made me gain some precious time but it also helped me linking my characters (always lined) and the background! So I lined some elements like the rocks and trees to fit better with my character style and tadaaa! I really love the result, far more better than my "painted" bgs. It feels like it's "more me" and I like it this way. I need more practice though.
